Past Initiatives and Thoughts for the Future

Since joining the company, I have been involved in R&D of processor architecture and SoC, and have driven SoC architecture development, design, mass production, and commercialization, focusing on image processing SoC for mobile devices and ASIC for gaming applications. Since 2014, I have been driving R&D of core technologies for memory systems / SSD, and is currently leading the R&D area of optical-connected memory and storage. To revive Japan's semiconductor technology, we believe that Kioxia's products must be highly competitive / value-added, and we will promote R&D for this purpose with young engineers.
